It was my dad's birthday last week, and my mom and sister-in-law had the MLK Holiday off from school, so they all piled into the Suburban and made the 10 hour trek up to NC to celebrate with us! We celebrated Rocco's birthday by baking a cake and putting a candle for each year on it (don't worry, Dad ~ I won't share the number! ; )). 
We visited the great-grandmas, UBA, Rocco & Christian finished the home theater, and Sassy and Goose made sure that Brennan's feet didn't touch the ground all weekend! Also, they were here for Brennan's first snow!It was great fun, and we sure do miss having Sassy, Rocco, UBA & Goose close by. But Rocco got the best birthday present by far - he got to share with us as we all watched Brennan crawl for the first time!
